Missing My Best Friend

My best friend Tiny left us on the 24th of January 2011. He was a Black chihuahua with one white paw, white chin and belly. Although the beginning of his life wasn't so nice (dumped in a box and left on top of a car at a petrol station at 6 weeks of age) he was accepted into a loving family, that cared for him for over 16 years.

It was evident that he was a troubled dog, seperated from his mother before 8 weeks, being abandoned and having a fear of men, it is heartbreaking to imagine what he went through at such an young age. Despite all of these hurdles he managed to become a very important member of my family, curling up in someone's bed each night, sitting on our laps while we watched tv, and greeting us with such excitement each day after school.

Tiny loved to run up and down the beach

I will never forget my tiny little friend, a loyal companion, who would have turned 17 today, if not for old age taking his life a couple of months ago.
